Many people ask why, after 20 years of established success, I chose to pivot and immerse myself in the world of AI. It wasn’t a sudden whim, but rather a convergence of experience, observation, and one specific moment that acted as a powerful catalyst. This is my AI journey and the motivations behind founding LouiseB.AI.

The Spark: An Exponential Wake-Up Call

The defining moment arrived in June 2023. I was watching an Impact Theory podcast featuring Peter Diamandis and Salim Ismail discussing their book, Exponential Organizations 2.0. They painted a vivid picture of a future rapidly being reshaped by technology, particularly AI.

One quote from Peter Diamandis struck me profoundly: “By the end of the decade there will be two kinds of companies: those who fully utilize AI; and, those who are out of business.” Honestly, I suspect Peter might be wrong – this shift could happen even faster than that! (A topic I plan to explore in a future post.)

While I didn’t grasp the full technical scope instantly, the message was crystal clear: AI wasn’t just another tech trend; it was becoming foundational to survival and growth. That podcast was the spark. It pushed me to move beyond curiosity and seriously start exploring tools like ChatGPT and understanding the practical potential of AI available right then. To this day, I still refer back to the concepts in that book almost weekly.

Connecting the Dots: AI Meets Experience

As I delved deeper, my 20+ years of experience provided crucial context. I’d witnessed firsthand the recurring challenges businesses faced: operational bottlenecks, several manual processes that exist to this day, and the untapped potential within vast amounts of data in silo.

I began connecting the dots. I saw how AI could directly address many of these deep-seated issues that traditional methods struggled with.

• Could AI automate repetitive administrative tasks to free up brilliant healthcare professionals?
• Could AI analyze data to personalize wellness programs far beyond standard segmentation?
• Could AI help beauty brands create truly individualized customer journeys?

The potential is beyond mere automation—it is about elevating human capabilities and empowering businesses, especially those in health and wellness, to amplify their impact and accelerate meaningful results.

The more I learned and experimented, the stronger my conviction grew. This wasn’t just technology; it was a paradigm shift demanding strategic integration. Fueled by this vision, I made the decision to leave my corporate role in early 2024 to dedicate myself fully to this mission, founding LouiseB.AI.
